LAURYN NEWTON - OGLETHORPE CHARTER


High Honor Student. Lauryn was a starter as a 6th grader on a City Championship basketball team. She started as a 7th and 8th grader. This year she was the second leading scorer, leading rebounder, and leading shot blocker on an undefeated City Championship team. She was an MVP in the City Championship game. She is excellent on the track and shot put. She is a great role model and is active in her church.

ANNA NICHOLSON - SAVANNAH COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL


High Honor Student, Plays Volleyball year round for Club Savh, Was key player on 8th Grade SPAL Volleyball Championship Team, Plays AAU Basektball & was Team leading scorer and rebounder on SPAL Basketball Championship Team. Key player on 7th & 8th Grade SPAL Regular Season Championship Teams. 

Serves her community well: Student Council, Wesley Community Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, PACK & CURE.


"Anna is one of those well-rounded players in every sport. She is coachable, she is a leader on her teams. She works hard in practices and it shows in her game performance. In basketball she has great Court awareness and continues to work hard everyday to improve her skill set and be better. Her relationship with her teams is evident as well. Academically she is top notch. ZION BOSTON - OGLETHORPE CHARTER SCHOOL


Honor Student. Played tight end and was a leading receiver for undefeated City Championship team. He was a standout defensive end. He made the 8th grade basketball team as a 6th grader. He started as a 7th grader and was the leading scorer and rebounder as an 8th grader on our back to back undefeated City Championship basketball teams. He was the MVP of our City Championship Tourney. He also stood out on the track for the Titans. He serves at his church.

National Junior Honor Society Student & Student Body President.

3rd place individual  finish & Team Championship in Cross Country.

One of the leader tacklers on SPAL runner-up Football Team. 

Leading Scorer & Rebounder for 3 Time SPAL Championship Basketball Team.

2026 SHAMROCK Basketball Tournament 

Member of SPAL Championship Golf Team.

In track 1st place in HIgh Jump, 3rd place in 4x100 relay

In baseball - second leading scorer and highest batting avg. 

Won 7th & 8th Grade SPAL Baseball championship at middle infielder and batting clean-up.

Serves the community: Renegade Paws Rescue, Jenkins Athletic Club volunteer, St James Volunteer and with CURE as well. 


“Colton Goka is the epitome of a person-student-athlete.Colton is an exceptional kid who balances academic responsibilities at a high level with participation in organized sports.He attend classes,complete assignments,and work toward educational goals while also committing significant time and energy to training,practices, and competitions.This requires strong time management,self discipline, and resilience. Colton has valuable skills such as a team player,leadership,and perseverance,which benefits him both on and off the court/field.


I can write a book about Colton 😂😂😂 hopefully that wasn’t too long, but there is  always so much I can say about him. I truly from the bottom of my heart love Colton and I’m super proud of his accomplishments 💪💪congratulations to him and he is well deserving of this award plus a lifetime achievement award from me"
